Animal Agriculture in a Changing Climate - Washington State University and Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Center (LPELC) provide a FREE on-line course targeted towards educating technical professionals about climate change and how to discuss with farmers/land owners.
ASWM-NRCS Wetland Training Webinar Series
NRCS has entered into an agreement with the Association of State Wetland Managers (ASWM) to develop a nine-part wetland training webinar series designed to provide participants with a general level of knowledge about wetlands and wetland restoration options and considerations.
There is no cost to register for the webinar and the webinar will be recorded and available for replay for those not able to participate live. If you have any questions about registering for a webinar, please contact Laura from ASWM at: email@example.com.
NRCS Air Quality and Animal Agriculture
The NRCS Air Quality and Animal Agriculture course is now available in AgLearn (search for “Air Quality and Animal Agriculture” after you log into AgLearn). This course introduces NRCS employees and others to the air emissions associated with animal operations and provides some information on how we can help mitigate these emissions. This course is the fifth in the air quality-related series (Air Quality, Climate Change and Energy; Why Should We Care About Air Quality; Air Quality Resource Concerns; and Greenhouse Gases and Carbon Sequestration are the others).
